Alex Sanchez, Seed Pot, Dragonfly Lid, Mediterranean Coral, Navajo, 3in x 1.75in

Some of the most interesting things of the Four Corners is found in this seed pot with a lid. Many of the red rock walls tell the stories of an earlier civilization that past down their stories and history through petroglyphs. You will also find a dragonfly lid on this silver bowl. The Four Corners is dry and you have to go long stretches before you come across water sources here. So when you do find a water source you are always amazed by the creatures and insects there that you don't find on the dry parts of the high desert. The dragonfly is always a magnificent creature and this one with coral is stunning. Navajo artist Alex Sanchez has shared his passion about jewelry with us. The interview is on our website under the artist section. He talks about how he first made this petroglyph style over 10 years ago and today it is his most popular work. Alex has filled this piece with those sterling silver petroglyphs. A very cool piece to add to your collection.
