It is difficult to decide which is more impressive, the rock or silver. The large silver box begins with an incredible piece of Kingman Turquoise. This oversized stone has a unique natural freeform cut that shows off the peaks and valleys of the Arizona rock. Navajo silversmith Ben Begay surrounds the specimen with traditional style Navajo stamp work. Ben has designed the lid to stay attached to the box when you open it with hinges. It is a large box that will be able to hold some larger items. On the bottom small silver balls have been used to set the box off of the ground. To get a piece of American turquoise this size is something special, especially an American classic.
