We have been fortunate enough to get several pieces of art from award-winning Navajo silversmith Darryl Dean Begay for the Trading Post. However, only a few of them have been inlay creations. This pendant shows his amazing lapidary style with a gorgeous center cobble stone design. He uses a combination of Carico Lake Turquoise, ox-blood Mediterranean Coral and black wood. The beautiful design is surrounded by a simple earth textured tufa design. You could wear this pendant two ways because he has carved a corn stalk opposite of the inlay side. With a piece of leather this would become the perfect piece of wearable Native American art.
