Navajo artist Herman Smith has made an incredible piece of silver and stone. When you first see this cuff you immediately realize it is something special. The cuff has a solid weight and just feels like traditional Navajo silver in your hand. Once you start inspecting the work you will be blown away with the design. Herman has filled this cuff with stamp work that finishes at each end, a repeating design that is full of positive energy. Also, when you turn the cuff over you will find more of Herman?s fascinating stamp work. However, just as impressive as the silver is the five perfectly matched stones. These are five pieces of excellent Number Eight rock. Each stone has a wonderful shade of blue that is filled with a classic golden honey spider web matrix. The freeform cuts look amazing against the First American silver, adding a Southwestern rawness to the piece. This might be one of the best pieces of Herman Smiths? silver and stone that we have ever seen here at the Trading Post. 92.1 grams
