Navajo artist Kevin Yazzie incorporates this classic design into many of his hand carved creations. This great looking bracelet is a wonderful balance of silver and stone. Kevin carves the traditional design from tufa stone. If you are familiar with traditional Navajo silver you will have seen this design before, some say it is the tail of the Water Bird.??You will find a piece of Chinese Turquoise set in the center of the earth textured cuff. The deep turquoise colored rock is filled with a heavy black matrix. Kevin learned in the studio of Aaron Anderson and the style and craftsmanship is a sign of that teaching. Make sure you check out all of the work by Kevin on the online Trading Post.
