Navajo artist Kevin Yazzie continues to make pieces of amazing tufa cast art. This huge cuff is another amazing example of why we think of him as such a talented silversmith. Kevin carves the traditional design from tufa stone. If you are familiar with traditional Navajo silver you will have seen this design before, some say it is the tail of the Water Bird.  You will find a piece of Kingman Turquoise set in the center of the large bracelet. The stone has a deep blue color that is filled with a dark matrix. Like most of Kevin's work, this silver creation shows off the earthy texture of the tufa stone in the center with a smooth outer finish. Finished with a comfortable tapered end. Make sure you check out all of the work by Kevin on the online Trading Post.
