Philander Begay, Buckle, Navajo Man, Turquoise, Sterling Silver, Handmade, 1.5in

Navajo artist Philander Begay is an award-winning artist known for his unique style of handmade art. His work is done in a tufa casting technique that he has begun to master, plus you don't see many other artists attempt his complicated designs. He caves the face of a Navajo Warrior on this buckle, and you will notice the pair of tab earrings that create that traditional look. The face simply sits on the natural tufa textured silver background. Philander adds nice finishing touches with a handmade buckle back and keeper. We are fortunate enough to have a collection of Philander's work if you are looking for more.
