Those old Navajo Najas that have hands carved at the ends always fascinated me. Navajo artist Aaron Anderson recreates those hands, but this time you will find them on a bracelet. He begins by carving a double triangle wire style design. Then he gives the carving a wavy design that will look amazing on the wrist. The big surprise comes at the ends where he has carved some incredible hands. I am not sure of the meaning, but in the Navajo culture so many things are done with the hands that you almost think they could mean life. Make sure you check out the online Trading Post to see more of Aaron?s tufa art.
