Navajo tufa cast artist Aaron Anderson does some pretty incredible things with his art. He doesn’t carve many of those traditional Navajo designs, but instead takes from tradition and tweaks it into his amazing looks. This time he has turned his silver into a very unique necklace. It is all about dragonflies. He hand carves six dragonflies that are a realistic presentation of the beautiful creature. Each one is filled with a deep blue Kingman turquoise stone. At the bottom Aaron has created his style of an old Pueblo dragonfly. He hangs everything on handmade Navajo pearls that share the same amazing finish as the dragonflies. A really cool piece to have in your collection of Native American wearable art.
