When it is parade time here in Gallup, New Mexico you can expect to see lots of Navajo Princesses. The Navajo Nation is large and lots of little girls who dream of becoming princesses. We often get many of these princesses in the store to take a picture. You will always find them traditionally dressed. The jewelry of this area is very similar, even though some of it is very contemporary it is based on tradition. Navajo artists Alfred Martinez & Eugene Chee collaborated to make this inlay cuff. They have used a fall color combination of golden shells, orange spiny oyster and dark brown tiger eye. Plus, Eugene has added style to the cuff by having half the cuff raised inlay and the other flat.
