Navajo artist Aaron Anderson took an old favorite and put a contemporary twist on it. The shadowbox was always a collector's favorite during the Navajo jewelry boom of the 1970s and 80s. It is a technique that really brings out the richness of the stone. One look at this extraordinary cuff and you realize how well it works. Aaron carves the setting to match the shape of the stone and uses an unpolished gap between the stone and stamped edge. Shades of blue radiate off of this Kingman Turquoise stone and the veins of gold matrix just make it that more magnificent. Finished with the comfortable carved shank that was made to accommodate the large setting, enjoy.
