Aaron Anderson, Bracelet, Tufacast, Water Web Kingman Turquoise, Navajo, 6 1/2"
Aaron Anderson, Bracelet, Tufacast, Water Web Kingman Turquoise, Navajo, 6 1/2"
One of the earliest techniques of the Navajo silversmith was to use sandstone to design their work. When you open up a book of antique Navajo art you are going to see images of old sandcast jewelry. This recreation of those old classics is magnificent. Thick carved edges and earth textured silver really turn this into a rustic Southwest lifestyle piece. Navajo silversmith Aaron Anderson loves to work in this style and has always been inspired by those early Navajo silversmiths. You will find five pieces of Water Web Kingman Turquoise set all around the bracelet. The legendary Arizona stone shows off a deep blue and really comes out with the combination of dark and light colored polish.
