Navajo artist Aaron Anderson has had thousands of admirers come through his workshop to witness him make a piece of jewelry. He works in an old technique that takes scrap pieces of silver that are heated to a high enough temperature that turns it into a liquid form. That is poured into a tufa mold that he has carved and then finished into a piece of wearable art. This bracelet is a big piece of silver that has an old style look. Eight carved rows make their way across the wide cuff and each is filled with alternating stamp designs to give it a unique twisted look. Aaron uses a mirror polish to finish the work that really makes the design stand out against the dark unpolished background.
