Author Stephen Amrbrose wrote Undaunted Courage the story of the Lewis and Clark expedition. It is a fascinating read and takes you to a time when nothing but the Native Americans occupied much of what is now the United States. He writes about how the Missouri River Valley was filled with animals. I believe that the only man lost on the expedition was because of a grizzly bear attack. Navajo artist Arland Ben celebrates the Bear in this magnificent bracelet. He uses a combination of sterling silver and 14k gold, with three large bears across the top of the cuff. You will love the way he has added the lifeline to each bear. Make sure you check out the other works by Arland on the online Trading Post.
