Lee Begay, Bracelet, Native American Church, Tufa, Navajo Handmade, 6 3/8"

Lee Begay, Bracelet, Native American Church, Tufa, Navajo Handmade, 6 3/8"
A drive across the Navajo Reservation and it doesn't take long before you see a teepee set up. The teepee is not a traditional Navajo home but has become common here since the introduction of the Native American Church. This NAC inspired bracelet is full of symbolism. You will find a centered teepee surrounded by a rattle, drum, and water bird. This unique piece is made by award-winning artist Lee Begay. The combination of natural texture, dark polish, and the mirror shined star really grabs your attention. Check out the online Trading Post for more of his work.
