Navajo tufa artist Lee Begay made this wonderful piece of silver art. He has carved a stunning detailed Yei' be Chei' from tufa stone. This Navajo Holy Person performs in many traditional ceremonies. Many times in the Winter months when you travel across the Navajo Reservation you will see signs leading you to the Yei' be chei' ceremonies. This Yei' be Chei' is holding a rattle that is decorated with deep blue Kingman Turquoise. The deer hide has also been decorated with a stunning piece of turquoise. You will find a necklace hanging with a traditional shaped Naja and other incredible detail. Lee has a combination of polishes to bring out the detail of the carving, a very impressive piece.
