Arland Ben, Bracelet, Wild Buffalo, 14k Gold, Silver, Navajo Handmade, 7 5/8"
Author Stephen Amrbrose wrote Undaunted Courage the story of the Lewis and Clark expedition. It is a fascinating read and takes you to a time when nothing but the Native Americans occupied much of what is now the United States. He writes about these large herds of buffalo they came across on the banks of the Missouri River. They stretched as far as the eye could see. Navajo artist Arland Ben celebrates the Buffalo in this magnificent bracelet. He uses a combination of sterling silver and 14k gold, with the large gold buffalo at the center of the cuff. Down each side you will find petroglyph inspired cutouts. Check the online Trading Post for more of Arland’s work.
