Imagine being in a remote part of the Navajo Nation. Say somewhere near Monument Valley where you have these incredible rock formations, that high desert red dirt, and miles and miles of open spaces. Next to your hogan you have a cover made from cuts of juniper with a branch cover. This is where you work on your silver for the next time you make the long journey into Gallup, New Mexico. That is the childhood of Navajo silversmith Arnold Blackgoat, and that tradition is reflected in his beautiful pieces of handmade silver. This Four Directions inspired design displays a gorgeous cluster of stamp designs and a piece of spider web turquoise. The Kingman rock shows off a deep blue against the rustic brushed finish of the silver. A beautiful pair of earrings, something you will love to wear.
