Navajo artist Bryan Tom tells a story with his amazing stone work. He fills the sterling silver pieces made by Melvin Francis with vibrant colors. Along the way he creates black, tan, and white inlaid sheep, like the ones that make the beautiful natural colors found in Navajo weavings. You will love the domed eye Bryan gives each sheep along with the texture. To celebrate the Navajo weaver you will find a Chief Blanket inspired inlaid buckle, and in the center of the concho belt Bryan has placed a weaver at her loom with Monument Valley in the background. This belt was awarded a First Place ribbon at Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial and is included with the belt. A collection of shells, jet, sugilite, lapis and turquoise create the rock art.?
