Rio Grande Pueblos are known for their amazing pieces of pottery. This stunning pendant is fashioned after those famous clay pieces. You will find dinosaur fossil, sterling silver, turquoise and fossilized ivory making the pottery pendant. Navajo and San Felipe artist Bryan Tom brings the Trading Post a very different style of art then what we get from other local silversmiths. His technique is found in the Pueblos closer to Albuquerque and Santa Fe, not way out on the western edge of New Mexico. He takes shells, not sterling silver, and fills them with mosaic inlay patterns. Bryan finishes the pendant with a heavy duty bail that will accommodate many different size necklaces.
