Julian Chavez, Bracelet, Kingman Turquoise, Stamping, Navajo Handmade, 7 1/8”

Julian Chavez, Bracelet, Kingman Turquoise, Stamping, Navajo Handmade, 7 1/8”
If you work silver long enough, you begin to feel comfortable experimenting with new looks and techniques. Navajo silversmith Julian Chavez has been hammering sterling silver into wearable art for decades. This cuff is an impressive piece and shows off his talent. It all begins with the thick cut of Kingman Turquoise in the center. The Arizona rock is full of character and looks right at home on the Navajo design. Julian shapes the center of the cuff to fit the shape of the stone, and that leads into a wide traditional stamped ends. The silver has been given a rustic brushed finish that really brings everything together. Enjoy adding this one-of-a-kind creation to your collection of Navajo art.
