Marcus Chavez, Bracelet, Twin Arrows, Number Eight Turquoise, Navajo, 7”

Marcus Chavez, Bracelet, Twin Arrows, Number Eight Turquoise, Navajo, 7”
Navajo silversmith Marcus Chavez takes us back to a different time with this massive cuff. The Four Corners was filled with symbolism during the early 1900s to express the Native American culture. Companies like Fred Harvey would fill jewelry with thunderbirds, arrowheads, chief heads, and arrows for the visiting tourists. Marcus does the same with this stunning cuff. Two large arrows border the long cut of stunning Number Eight Turquoise. You will even find stars and thunderbirds decorating the cut-out symbols. Everything has been framed in this almost rug like top that is complete with a mesa cliff border. A wide cuff and old-style polish finish the unique piece.
