We don't get many pieces of silver and stone from Acoma artists. This is the first piece we have had from Acoma artist Tony Chino. His silver work rivals any Navajo work and this bolo tie is an amazing piece. It all begins with the huge cut of Pilot Mountain Turquoise. The stone showcases a deep blue color that is filled with that heavy signature Pilot matrix. You will love the way the tan and browns of the matrix mix with the rich blue. This is a very thick cut of rock and it shows high above the fancy filed bezel. Tony surrounds the magnificent rock with two layers of cut out triangle wires that create a shadow box setting. Finished with a nice braided leather cord that has a neck strap and stamped handmade sterling silver tips. Again, you will not get over the size of the classic Nevada stone, a great piece.
