When someone mentions Navajo jewelry, big and heavy silver pieces come to mind. The same is not true at the mention of Zuni where you begin to think of detailed lapidary pieces that will wear very comfortably and lite. Every Zuni artist has a certain style to their work, and even though certain artists do nothing but inlay or needlepoint work you can still tell them apart. Artist Edmund Cooeyate is known for his incredible needlepoint works that combines two stones. In this bracelet he has used the classic combination of blue and red. You will find the cluster bracelet decorated with deep red Mediterranean Coral, and the other half is sky blue Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. A piece that was made to impress all who see it.
