In the Zuni culture the dragonfly serves as a messenger, between this world and the next. Darryl Dean Begay is not Zuni, but this award-winning Navajo artist has definitely captured the majestic creature beautifully. The wide tufa carved silver cuff is filled with two dragonflies and the Zuni Mountains in the background. A figure has been created off center using two pieces of the Otteson's new Blue Moon Turquoise mine. You will find the Nevada rock filled with shades of blue, green and yellow that together create this fascinating webbed stone. Darryl is a master at bringing incredible detail out of the tufa stone, everything is perfect on this bracelet. 127.6 grams
