The Navajo People have a unique story to tell. Like the many other Native American groups they were here before the Europeans came to North America. Many of these groups would influence the way the new arrivals would live. The Navajo became part of this new larger group of people but have held on too many of their traditional beliefs. Navajo artist Calvin Desson captures that dynamic relationship in this amazing inlaid ring. Half is designed with the Navajo Yei’ that represents the spiritual world of the Navajo, and the other half is the American Flag that is a mix of all our different cultures. Simple silver work and a mirror shine bring out the color and design of the one-of-a-kind ring.
