|Main Stone||Lone Mountain Turquoise|
The work by Navajo silversmith Eskiesose fills the G.G. Wallace auction catalog from 1975. He is a little mysterious and not a lot of information is out there except for the Sothebys auction. In the Gallup Cultural Center they have a small write up on him and a picture which can be found on the second floor in the museum. This belt is classic Navajo cluster. You will find each piece filled with pure blue Lone Mountain Turquoise. All fourteen pieces showcase traditional Navajo stamp work. An amazing historical piece. The belt is a circa 1940s creation.
