Navajo artists Melvin Francis and Lester James had a little Mary Morgan inspiration when they made this stunning piece. Mary was known for these big silver designs that were made to last and always showed incredible Navajo character. Navajo silversmith Melvin Francis made the wide sterling silver setting. You will find the mirror and smooth piece decorated with straight stamped lines on each end. Talented lapidary artist Lester James filled the big cuff with several cuts of mosaic inlaid turquoise. These beautiful stones come from a variety of mines and show of a range of colors. Make sure the measurements work because you will not be able to bend this massive inlay piece. Just like the great pieces of the 1970s, this one was meant to be worn and shown off. A great addition to any collection of great First American art.
