Derrick Gordon, Bracelet, Golden Canyon Turquoise, Ingot, Navajo Made, 6 7/8”

Derrick Gordon, Bracelet, Golden Canyon Turquoise, Ingot, Navajo Made, 6 7/8”
You take pieces of scrap silver or sometimes old silver coins and melt them. When you have liquid silver it is then poured into a silver ingot mold. That mold is usually a thick rectangle size and gives the silversmith a beginning. Lots of hammering, heating, and sometimes with the use of a silver roller the ingot takes the shape of a bracelet. This is the technique Derrick Gordon has used to make this beautiful cuff. This bracelet is filled with lots of design that includes traditional stamp work along with a beautiful applique design. All of the silver is to present the stunning piece of Golden Canyon Turquoise. You will find this Arizona stone filled with an amazing sky-blue color and black web matrix pattern. The bracelet is a solid piece and is going to be one of those great lifelong pieces.
