Navajo silversmith Wilford Henry makes traditional sandcast jewelry. He used templates and recreated the same designs over and over. Once he takes the silver from the casting mold then he individualizes it by adding turquoise and possibly more silver designs with stamping, drops, or twisted wire. This thick silver bracelet simply shows off a rich colored piece of Kingman Turquoise against bold carved design. Wilford gives the silver that antique look, a perfect compliment to the traditional sandcast style.
