The Yei' be Chei' is a gateway during the healing ceremonies from this world to the next. Navajo artist Lester James captured the traditional look of the Yei' be Chei' in this tufa carved bolo design. The figure is complete with full headdress, moccasins, fox tail and rattle. What immediately brings your intention to the unique carving is the stunning inlay work that includes cuts of turquoise and coral that is used to highlight the piece. It is an interesting collection of American rocks that show both green and blue colors. The stones pop against the traditional Navajo character. Lester has completed his piece with a braided leather bolo cord and sterling silver tips.
