Talented Navajo tufa cast artist Kelsey Jimmie made this fascinating Crown Dancer bracelet. The magnificent piece is created by carving into a tufa stone and then pouring silver into the design, creating a very unique style of art. You will be blown away by the detail of the dancer, from his crown down to buckskin dress. Plus, the strip of Mediterranean Coral across the hood gives the bracelet some color. New Mexico pueblos can be seen in the background. Every year the Apache Dancers perform at the Inter-Tribal Ceremonial here in Gallup and they are always a crowd favorite. This bracelet is another great example of how the different Native American cultures of the Southwest influence the art of the Navajo.
