Butterflies are colorful. So, it only makes sense that Navajo artist Kelsey Jimmie used a piece of green malachite for this amazing bracelet. The green stone is no stranger to Navajo silver and this particular piece is full of character. You will find streaks of light and dark green shooting across the small oval cut stone. Kelsey uses the piece for the head of the butterfly, one that is filled with detailed carved wings. The butterfly rests on top of a wide tufa and cuttlebone cuff, one that alternates between dark and shiny sterling silver. This is a wonderful piece of handmade wearable art and something you will find yourself wearing often.
