Navajo artist Aaron John uses many different techniques to make his award-winning jewelry. He works in the traditional ways of using silver plate and stamping tools, and he can also create tufa casted pieces. This stunning ring is filled with both great silver and stone. The big ring is filled with an inlay of reddish orange spiny oyster stones. Aaron uses 15 cuts of shell separated by a thick strip of silver to create this piece. He surrounds the rocks with a heavy silver border that is finished with an eye pleasing textured look. Everything sits on a wide silver adjustable stamped ring band that will wear comfortably and look great on.
