Aaron John, Bracelet, Roaming Buffalo, Multi-Stone, Navajo Handmade, 6 1/4"
Navajo artist Aaron John makes a variety of pieces using this beautiful overlay style. We always feel lucky to get his incredible work. His work is always very clean and you can count on it being perfectly done. It is said that the buffalo roamed all the way into what is now New Mexico. I imagine the eastern part of our state where prairie grasses grow is where you found them. This magnificent creature is a symbol of the First American peoples and they run across this amazing cuff. Aaron fills the piece with wild buffalo highlighted by colorful shells, black onyx, coral, lapis, and turquoise stones. A mirror finish and black oxidized background really brings the design out.
