It is astonishing the list of artists that can be traced back to legendary Zuni artist Jacob Haloo. Names like Dennis Edaakie, Jake Livingston, Harlan Coonsis, Fred & Lolita Natachu, and Dolly Panteah makes a very impressive list. Jake Haloo created magnificent pieces of mosaic inlay art and passed on those talents to the list above and others. Zuni artists Nancy & Ruddell Laconsello belong to this line of Haloo students. This incredible bolo was made using mosaic techniques and displays important Pueblo culture. The Eagle Dancer is made using jet, shell, coral, and turquoise stones. It is very impressive to see the detail of the inlay and how the Laconsellos' use the silver and stone to create wearable Zuni art. This will make one great daily bolo to show off your appreciation of Zuni art. Heavy sterling silver tips are on a very nice braided leather cord to complete the piece.
