Zuni needlepoint is a classic style from this New Mexico Pueblo. You will find it done in turquoise, coral and newer work will have it in almost any color you can think of. This stunning oversized cluster ring was made by Zuni artist Shirley Lahi. The cluster of turquoise needlepoint stones sit on a mirror polished sterling silver. You will notice around the stones it is difficult for the artist to polish the silver giving it that dark background that really makes the color of the blue Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stand out. Look for a bracelet or a pair of earrings from Shirley to match this cuff.
