Navajo tufa cast artist Lee Begay was inspired by the colorful hummingbird that shows up each summer here in the Four Corners when he made this gorgeous pin, pendant. This amazing hummingbird is full of detail, from the fluttering wings to the curved feather tail. Lee has created the beautiful creature using his award-winning tufa carving techniques, one that leaves the natural Mother Earth texture to the silver. Right in the center of the hummingbird you will find a colorful piece of purple spiny oyster shell. Another great piece by this creative artist.
