Navajo artist Monty Claw makes many different animal themed pieces of handmade art. This talented silversmith can do just about anything with silver and stone. Navajo land is known for wild horses and that has inspired this buckle. Monty uses tufa casting techniques to the shape the wild pony and then fills it with stone. You will find dinosaur bone, jet, turquoise and coral making the colors of the horse. A handmade buckle back and keeper finishes the piece. The buckle is definitely going to give you a one-of-a-kind look. Make sure you check out the different pieces we have on the online Trading Post by Monty.
