In the old days you had a number of characters coming by the Trading Post selling blue rocks. Like many things it seems that market has consolidated somewhat, and the number of sellers has been reduced to a handful. The old timers would come into the shop and be carrying their black cases for the stones. It was always exciting to see what stones the dealer would have. I can't remember the last time someone came through with a tray of legendary Morenci Turquoise stones. This 1960s' Navajo creation is filled with six of those famous blue Morenci rocks. One of the stones has a crack but is secure. Simple silver work surrounds the cluster of large rocks.
