Many times, we think of these earlier cluster pieces as Zuni work. After all the Zuni jewelry makers had always been more interested in the stones over the silver. They had perfected the cutting of rough turquoise and to perfectly shaped small stones. However, Persian Turquoise showed up on the market already cut into these small cuts and traders would give the stones out to a number of Navajo silversmiths. You will find this bracelet created with a number of different sized cuts that come together perfectly. The artist has used twisted wire and silver drops to dress up the piece. Great colored rock that will look incredible on.
