Ever since the trains arrived in New Mexico entrepreneurial souls have been figuring out how to sell the local Native American art to the visitors. Santo Domingo is located between Santa Fe and Albuquerque and a large part of its economy is based on Native American art. The styles have changed over the years, but one thing has remained the same. You will be blown away by the bold art coming out of this Pueblo community. Artist Christopher Nieto finds a big piece of Number Eight Turquoise rough and shapes a big stone and bale from the rock.
