When you take two incredibly talented artists and have their work displayed on one piece of wearable art you definitely get something very special. Zuni lapidary expert Gillford Tsattie puzzled together white shell, jet, spiny oyster shell, lapis, coral & turquoise to make the hidden Sunface design. Gillford uses a combination of flush and raised inlay to bring out the fascinating design, and if you look closely you will notice the traditional face surrounded by a turquoise Zia. Navajo tufa cast artist Philander Begay designed the large silver cuff and carved the channels to be inlaid. When you turn the cuff over you will find it filled with petroglyph inspired art carvings. This is a very unique piece that will become the pride of your Native American art collection.
