Zuni artist Randy Pinto makes fascinating pieces of channel inlay. It might be because of the teachers he has had, being the son of Virgil & Shirley Benn gives you a little head start. You will notice the similarities in style, an etched stone set in a channel inlay style creating life like pieces. Each bird is beautifully decorated and Randy has used a variety of stones that include spiny oyster shell, mother pearl, gold lip, jet, coral, malachite, turquoise, and other types of shell. Randy has used two rows of sterling silver beads to hang the ten incredible birds, now you just need to name them, a great necklace for that bird watching enthusiast.
