Zuni artist Andrea Lonjose taught her daughter Tamara the family business. This gorgeous hummingbird necklace and French hook earrings are perfectly done with a mix of shells, jet, turquoise, malachite and coral. The pieces are filled with incredible detail and the vibrant colors you would expect to find on such a fascinating creature. You will find the inlaid stones carved to bring all twelve hummingbirds to life, a technique Andrea learned from Shirley Benn. We have other works by Tamara if you are interested.
