We get to see some pretty amazing pieces of handmade art here at the Trading Post. You never know what is going to walk through the doors. This bracelet blew us all away. Zuni artist Quinton Quam made this impressive show piece. It begins with a big and heavy piece of silver. You are going to be blown away by the size, the cuff is at 4" wide. Next, Quinton fills the oversized creation with magnificent inlay. He has a hummingbird, cardinal, blue jay, butterfly and colorful flowers filling the silver. Quinton has used a combination of shells, lapis, malachite, coral and turquoise to bring the scene to life. Along the edges a turquoise and stamp work makes an eye appealing border. This is a wonderful piece to add to your collection of authentic Native American art.
