This amazing necklace comes from a private collection and dates back to the 1970s. It was made by legendary Zuni artists Robert & Bernice Leekya who always seem to be making their art in 14k gold. You will be blown away by this creation that includes classic American rock and precious 14k gold. The stone is a piece of Kingman, a huge piece of Kingman, that is filled with a deep blue color and black matrix. It is surrounded by heavy stamped wire and leaf work. What really captures the eye is the handmade bead necklace that uses a combination of two styles of beads, a perfect finish to the extraordinary turquoise. You don't see gold as often as silver in Native American art, but when you do it just enhances the already incredible handmade art.
