Hopi artist Ruben Saufkie made this fun to wear pendant. He designs the piece after the fertility god, Kokopelli. The figure is created using traditional Hopi overlay techniques. Ruben uses a combination of mirror shined sterling silver along with an oxidized background to really bring out the design. Ruben creates the texture by using tufa cast silver. You will find the Kokopelli playing his flute. It has been finished with a small bail that will accommodate either a small tight sterling silver rope chain or piece of leather.
