When the Hopi emerged from the Third World into the Fourth, they had to go on a pilgrimage to all four corners of the world. Along the way they would receive help, and on one of those occasions it came from the Kokopelli. Hopi artist Ruben Saufkie recreates this story with this stunning pendant. The Hopi would need sustenance on their pilgrimage and the Kokopelli would play the flute and wear the feather as a headdress. Ruben uses the traditional overlay Hopi technique that brings the detail out magnificently. You will find the pendant reveals a realistic feather and one of artistic interpretation.
