Herman Smith, Belt Buckle, Kingman Turquoise, 4 Directions, Navajo, 1 1/2"

Navajo silversmith Herman Smith made this heavy duty belt buckle. The Four Directions is a theme used in Navajo art often, a very important part of the culture. Herman has used four pieces of gorgeous high domed Kingman Turquoise rocks for the 4-directions. The perfectly matched stones are set on a heavy stamped silver buckle that is a massive 2 1/4" wide. Herman has decorated the center of the piece with his own four direction bump out design, surrounding it with traditional Navajo stamp designs. The revival piece is completed with a rustic brushed antique finish, the perfect Southwest piece. We have a few of Herman's pieces on the online Trading Post, make sure you check them out.
